GETTING THERE
Ashton Court Estate, Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9JN
By Car
From the North, M5 Junction 19: take the A369 towards Bristol city centre.
From the South, M5 Junction 21: take the A370 towards Bristol.
From the East or West, M4 Junction 20: take the M5 southbound, leaving at junction 19 for the A369 towards Bristol city centre.
Accessibility: Audience MUST park in Mansion Car Park. (The Estate Car Park closes at 9.15pm). The Estate, Clifton Lodge and the Church is locked at 9.15pm. There is a fee if security is called to let cars out after this time.
By Foot
Ashton Court site is approximately a 50 minute walk from Bristol City Centre, Clifton and South Bristol.
By Bus
First Bus operates bus services throughout Bristol. The Long Ashton Park and Ride (903) operated from Broadmead to Long Ashton, a 20 minute walk away from the Ashton Court Estate.
By Bike
Bicycles can enter the estate from Kennel Lodge Road. A bike park is located on site. Please note that bicycles are left at your own risk.

Seating is not provided: We would advise audience members to bring a picnic blanket, a camping stool or foldable chairs for your comfort.
Food is not on sale, so feel free to bring your own picnics.
Please bring warm clothing and waterproofs. Umbrellas are not permitted during the performance.

Our weather and refunds policy
This policy forms part of our terms and conditions.
We will make every effort to complete the performance and reserve the right to stop and start the action as necessary. Performances are never cancelled or abandoned before the advertised starting time and then only in the event of very bad weather. Please note that we cannot give refunds for cancellation or abandonment as a result of the weather. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser for reasons other than the weather (in which case the ticket must be returned to the organiser within 21 days of the due performance date).

GB Theatre Company are delighted to be performing William Shakespeare's epic play The Tempest and the hilarious comedy The Taming of the Shrew at Ashton Court Estate. Our cast (see Cast Biographies) of outstanding professional actors are directed by Jenny Stephens (director of BBC Radio 4's The Archers) and Jack Shepherd (of ITV's Wycliffe fame).

Ashton Court Estate
Just 2 miles from the centre of Bristol, Ashton Court Estate remains almost entirely surrounded by Somerset countryside. Owned by Bristol Council since 1959, the estate is now a major recreational area for Bristol and North Somerset. The current estate is about 850 acres of woodland and meadows with free entry and free parking (except during some of the large events). A mixture of ancient woodland its natural wildlife and many activities & events, Ashton Court Estate is well worth a visit.
