Wyndcliffe Court Gardens are Grade II listed and designed in the Arts and Crafts style. Situated along the Wye Valley between Chepstow and Tintern, they are beautiful formal gardens with views to the south and east. Open every weekend, they are showcasing contemporary sculptures by local and well-known British artists. Open from Friday 15th April to 25th September 2016.

For more information on the history of Wyndcliffe Court and its gardens please see the Wyndcliffe Court page. The gardens at Wyndcliffe Court were designed by H. Avray Tipping, friend of Gertrude Jekyll and Editor of Country Life magazine. Completed in 1922, they are probably the best example of their type in Wales. Designed in a series of formal spaces or "rooms" they feature sculpted topiary, a sunken garden, a summerhouse, walled gardens, fountains, lily ponds and a bowling lawn leading on to wooded walks. They are worth a visit in their own right, but also make a wonderful setting for open-air Shakespeare.
